State funding finder

Start where your program operates.

The directory covers all 50 states. It does not mean an open grant is available in every state. Each entry retains closed rounds, upcoming programs, local limits, and gaps in verification.

Before you apply

Confirm five things with the funder.

  1. Your exact provider type is eligible, including whether licensing, registration, subsidy participation, or a quality rating is required.
  2. Your county, city, service area, and proposed project meet the current rules.
  3. Applications are actually open and funds remain; check the year, deadline, time zone, amendments, and submission route.
  4. The support is a cash grant, reimbursement, stipend, in-kind award, scholarship, payment, or repayable loan.
  5. You can meet allowed-cost dates, match or upfront-cash requirements, reporting duties, and any continuing operation commitment.

Ask: “I operate [provider type] in [county/state] and am planning [project]. Are this provider type and project eligible, are applications and funds available now, and where can I read the current rules?”

This review is not an exhaustive survey of every county, tribal fund, or foundation. A current home-provider grant not being verified does not prove that no local opportunity exists. Arizona source retrieval and Massachusetts C3 retrieval were unavailable; those entries retain the access limits. No applications were submitted or awards verified.
